John Forney and Jim Rhoads \; will discuss &ldquo\;The Opioid Crisis&rdquo\; on Monday\, June 24\, at the Democratic Club of Claremont&rsquo\;s monthly meeting. \; The program will begin at 7:00 PM in Napier Commons Room\, 660 Avery Road\, on the campus of Pilgrim Place.

\n\nForney and Rhoads have recently begun a project in West Virginia to combat its drug epidemic. \; The facility\, House of Hope\, Ohio Valley\, \; will attempt to be all-inclusive\, providing patients and families with on-campus living and life skills along with counseling\, training and employment opportunities. \; Both speakers have vast experience with the treatment of dependencies. Forney\, past-president of the Democratic Club of Claremont\, has a background in counseling and management. \; Rhoads\, a retired medical recovery expert\, has designed and managed programs at local hospitals.

\n\nIn addition\, Tara Schultz\, Claremont City Manager\, will present \; a brief program about Claremont&rsquo\;s financial outlook.
\n\n\;
\n\nA brief business meeting will follow. \;
\n\n\;
