DESCRIPTION:The Claremont Lewis Museum of Art Fall Gala will celebrate the power of art in our lives and its\n\nability to bring a community together on Saturday\, September 24.\n\nThe festivities will begin at 5:30 pm with a reception on the Depot Plaza to toast the many\n\ngenerous donors who helped complete the renovation of the final two rooms in the Claremont\n\nDepot\, transforming them into spacious galleries. The Museum will be open to view the current\n\nexhibition Claremont Collects: Art\, Creativity\, Community and dinner will be served on the\n\nDepot lawn by Chef Henry of Spaggi's. Special thanks to Gala Platinum Sponsor\, Patricia A.\n\nLobello\, Lobello Lamb Lewis &amp\; Riley LLP\; Gold Sponsor\, Claremont Lincoln University\; and Silver\n\nSponsor\, Ahlene Welsh.\n\nHighlights of the evening will include the dedication of Gallery One to Marguerite McIntosh\, the\n\nfounding president of the Museum\, and a tribute to Randall Lewis and his family for their\n\nstunning and strategic gift to establish an endowment fund to secure the future of the\n\nClaremont Lewis Museum of Art. The event will include bidding on unique live auction items\, as\n\nwell as a paddle auction to benefit Project ARTstART celebrating its twelfth year in the\n\nClaremont Unified School District.\n\nThe community is invited to participate in the Gala celebration and the Online Auction\, with 50\n\nworks by Claremont's legacy artists and current local artists. The Online Auction will go live at\n\n2022clmoa.afrogs.org at noon on Sunday\, September 18\, and end at noon on Monday\,\n\nSeptember 25. Preview viewing of the silent auction begins on Monday\, September 12.\n\nIndividual tickets to the Fall Gala are $150.
