DESCRIPTION:Join CHERP Locally Grown Power (CLGP) on Friday\, October 11\, 2019 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Sontag Greek Theater\, Pomona College\, to celebrate our and Assemblyman Chris Holden receiving a $2.1 million budget allocation from the state of California\, and the launch of our work on the first non-profit solar panel assembly factory in the world\, a first-of-its-kind initiative that will change the way solar energy is delivered at the community level.\n\n\n\nThere will be free tacos\, beer\, and wine\, music by Small Town Magic\, and a silent auction. Emily Moultrie from Claremont Craft Ales will be our MC for the night.\n\n\n\nThe event is open to all. We hope to see you there!\n\nPlease RSVP at info@cherp.net so we can be sure to have enough food for everyone.\n\n\n\nCLGP's factory will produce patented-technology solar panels for low-to-moderate income (LMI) households at little to no cost\, employ more than 200 local residents\, and help the cities of Claremont and Pomona significantly reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
