Description
Angela Su, School Finance Specialist, California Teachers Association, will discuss "School Funding and the Impact of Charter Schools" on Monday, September 30, at the Democratic Club of Claremont's monthly meeting. The program begins at 7 PM in the Napier Commons Room, 660 Avery Road, on the campus of Pilgrim Place. Ms. Su has 20 years experience of analyzing the education budgets of both the state and local school districts for purposes of bargaining. She trains CTA staff and local leaders in school finance, bargaining, tax fairness and economic justice. The program is open to the public with a brief business meeting to follow.
