Description
"Intersectional Coalition Building: Strategies for Responding and Resisting Immigration Scapegoating"This Fund Raising Event will feature Jose Zapata Calderon, Ph.D., Professor Emeritas of Socialogy and Chicano Studies from Pitzer College. He is an activist and academic who promotes coalitions by sharing his experiences as a professor and a farm worker. He works to build partnerships between communities and higher education.
This Food for Thought event is a fundraiser for LWV and the cost is $40.00.
Light refreshments will be provided.
