Two public meetings scheduled to receive comments

The Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed 12.3-mile Metro Gold Line light rail extension from Azusa to Montclair was released in August for a 45-day public review period. The proposed project runs mostly at-grade or street level, and includes six stations (in Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, Claremont and Montclair) and two new grade-separated crossings.

The Draft EIR can be found at each corridor city’s public library, the Construction Authority’s office in Monrovia (address below), or online at: www.foothillextension.org.

Two public meetings have been scheduled to receive comments on the Draft EIR:

Monday, September 24, 2012 – 5:30 p.m.
