Looking for something to do with the kids in town this weekend? Bring them to the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art on this summer for Free Family Day with the popular ARTStation July 7 and August 4. High school students in Project ARTstART will lead families in an art activity related to the exhibition The Great Perfection: Charles Long & Khang Bao Nguyen.
Located in the historic Claremont Depot at 200 W. First Street near the Metrolink Station, the Museum will be open noon to 4:00 p.m. with free admission. On the first Sunday of every month, ARTStation offers children a place to experience art and engage with local culture.The Great Perfection: Charles Long & Khang Bao Nguyen explores two artists’ diverse approaches to the aesthetic expression of nondual consciousness. The exhibition is sponsored, in part, by Claremont Lincoln University. The exhibition will be on view through August 18.
