2013 Claremont Earth Day Celebrations

The theme for the 2013 Earth Day is "Reducing our Carbon Footprint, One Step at a Time." 
  
The goal with the Earth Day Celebration is to increase community awareness of earth-friendly products, services, and organizations available to them, provide hands on learning opportunities, and bring the entire community together for a fun and meaningful celebration. 
 
This year the event is expected to bring more than 2000 people and over 60 exhibitor/vendor booths located along a two-block section of Second Street in the Claremont Village, Claremont's charming downtown district.  There will be live entertainment, including bands and speeches by local dignitaries, art displays, a community bike ride/walk, a bicycle "rodeo" and much more.
